Smart Windows Automatically Adjust to Outdoor Temperature to Save Energy
Production is beginning for a new window coating that automatically adjusts to control solar gain through windows. Raven Windows, made by Denver-based RavenBrick, are made with a special nanomaterial coating which makes the windows responsive to outdoor temperature. Dell to Ship Products in Mushroom-Based Packaging
Dell has very big plans for cutting down on packaging waste, aiming to cut packaging by 20 million pounds and to make 75 percent of its packaging recyclable, while upping the use recycled or renewable materials by 40 percent.
